Once, my sister's dog ate her homework. We thought this was odd because of how stereotypical this was. When my mom showed the teacher that our dog actually ate my sister's homework, she was excused from week's home assignments. Our dog obviously got in trouble, and was kept in her bed for the rest of that week.
