tell me about emf and potential difference clearly if u deeply studied it by taking an example of everyday life

EMF It is the work done by a source in taking a unit charge once round the complete circuit. PD It is the work done in taking a unit charge from one point of the circuit to another. ... So the main difference is between potential difference(voltage) and electromotive force.
