Nutrition is the process in which food is ingest, digest and converted into energy and waste products.
Nutrition is completed in following steps:-
1). Ingestion => The process of taking food is called is Ingestion.
2). Digestion => Complex food is changed into simpler food with the help of enzymes.
3). Absorption => The digested food is sucked by our body.
4). Assimilation => Absorbed food reached to cell cytoplasm by diffusion.
5). Egestion => Removal of undigested food to outside the body is called Egestion.
Now, Nutrition in plants i.e. Autotrophic Nutrition.
In this process organisms are self nourishing. It means they are able to make their food. They make within their tissues all types of food that they want. They use raw materials from nature or environment to make their food. So that they are called Autotrophs.
All green plants, some protists and photosynthetic bacteria show the Photosynthesis and are called as Photo- Autotrophs. They contain a green pigment called Chlorophyll and are able to synthesise the food from simpler raw materials like Carbon dioxide and Water in the presence of Sunlight.
Chloroplasts are the green coloured Plastids which helps autotrophs to synthesise of organic food. The Chloroplasts are spread all over the cytoplasm of plants cells.
Events during Photosynthesis :-
1). Absorption of light energy by Chlorophyll.
2). Conversion of light energy into Chemical energy by splitting of Water into Hydrogen and Oxygen.
3). Reduction of Carbon dioxide to Carbohydrates.
1). Light Reaction occurs in Granna - Photolysis of water takes place or splitting of water into Hydrogen and Oxygen.
2). Dark reaction occurs in stroma. In this process there is a reduction of Carbon dioxide to Carbohydrates like
After that Kelvin Cycle :-
In this process at first water molecules in the Granna(Found in Chloroplasts) splits into Hydrogen and Oxygen by the action of Sunlight after that Oxygen comes out from stomata(tiny pores in the green leaf) then Hydrogen atom combines with NADP and goes to Stroma then after this NADPH forms and again in Stroma NADPH splits into NADP and Hydrogen again NADP goes to Granna and left Hydrogen atom in Stroma combines with Carbon dioxide which is taken by stomata and forms Carbohydrates![\: CH_{2}O \: or \:C_{6}H_{12}O_{6} \: CH_{2}O \: or \:C_{6}H_{12}O_{6}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5C%3A+CH_%7B2%7DO+%5C%3A+or+%5C%3AC_%7B6%7DH_%7B12%7DO_%7B6%7D)
