The forest were considered as waste lands by the Britishers as these grounds did not yield agrarian item nor some other income.

Agreeing to the waste land rules, uncultivated lands were taken and offered over to chosen people. They were allowed concessions. Some of them were made Headmen.

To pioneer control, all uncultivated land had all the earmarks of being inefficient. It delivered neither income nor horticultural produce.

In this manner, it was viewed as 'no man's land' or waste land that should have been brought under development.

From the mid-nineteenth century, 'waste land Rules' were authorized in different parts of our nation.
