This means that after the world war 2 , Russia and America alone had the capability to emerge as super powers. During the war Russia and America were in alliance but with time Russia developed different administration policies more of a socialist type while on the other hand America developed more of a capitalist type. As a result a strong competition emerged between them to establish supremacy over the world. Thus the world was
categorised between these two countries. This period of time is considered as bi polar world order. Considering the situation the was no actual war between them but their relations were so tense that their was a constant fear a war breaking out between them . This phase is known as The Cold War Phase.
