if We speak sentence that is spoken by some one in same manner that he has spoken that is dirrect speech.

for example ,. ram says he is mad

in direct speech the thing that is said by someone is always in double inverted commas I have not closed in double inverted commas that I have given example of direct speech because there was no option

in indirect speech we say the sentence that is spoken by someone in our own language

for example .... ram said that he is mad . in indirect speech the sentence is spoken by someone is not closed in in double inverted comma
