Answer:

we have been given the value of v+1/v i.e. 5

We have to find correct answer i.e.

1) squaring both the sides

(v+1/v)^2 = (5)^2

Using (a+b)^2= a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

v^2 + 1/v^2 + 2(v×1/v)=25

v^2+1/v^2=23

2) not possible because we have found the value of v^2 + 1/v^2 = 23 that is not equal to 27

3) now we will square the 1st part

i.e. (v^2 + 1/v^2)^2= (23)^2

v^4 + 1/v^4 +2(v^2×1/v^2) = 529

v^4 + 1/v^4 = 527

hence 1st 3rd and 4th part satisfy this question.
