let lenght is 5x and breadth is 2x

after taking path, a new rectangle is formed of lenght 5x+2.5+2.5 and breadth 2x+2.5+2.5

area of new rectangle is (5x+5)(2x+5)=10x²+35x+25

area of old rectangle park is 5x*2x=10x²

area of path= area of new rectanle - area of old rectangle

305= 10x²+35x+25 - 10x²
305= 35x+25
305-25=35x
280=35x
8=x
hence lenght is 8*5=40m and breadth=2*8=16m
