1)Lead paragraph - 1-3 sentences ,Answer wh questions
2) Explanation- 2-3paragraphs, Quotes and details

Byline(Name of the journalist)
Lead: Place - Date - Answer the questions , who,what,where,when and why very briefly but in manner that is attention grabbing.
Body: background and detailed information about the news
Tail: additional information that may be helpful but not essential.
Some tips to keep in mind while writing a report are:
1)it must be easy to read,providing the information in a clear and concise way;
2)it must be in the past tense and in the third person;
3) it should be accurate and balanced - giving
all the sides of a story; and
4) it must comprise vivid words and simple sentences
