Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

3×16^3/2 × 16^-1/2 × 2^-3

To find :-

Simplify the expression ?

Solution :-

Given expression is 3×16^3/2 × 16^-1/2 × 2^-3

We know that

a^m × a^n = a^(m+n)

=> 3× [(16)^(3/2)-(1/2)]×2^-3

=> 3 × [(16)^(3-1)/2] × 2^-3

=> 3 × [ (16)^(2/2)] × 2^-3

=> 3 × [ (16)^1] × 2^-3

=> 3×16 × 2^-3

=> 48×2^-3

We know that

a^-n = 1/a^n

=> 48×1/2^3

=> 48×1/8

=> 48/8

=> 6

Answer:-

The answer for the given problem is 6

Used formulae:-

» a^m × a^n = a^(m+n)

» a^-n = 1/a^n
