⭐ The national flag of India is a rectangular tri-coloured flag having saffron on the top, white in the middle and green at the bottom having ‘Ashoka Chakra’ in the centre.

⭐ National anthem of India is “Jana Gana Mana” which was composed by Rabindranath Tagore.

⭐ National song of India is “Vande Mataram” which was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.

⭐ India is a collection of 29 states and 7 union territories.

⭐ India has the second largest population in the world, with 1.3 billion people, after China.

1) India or ‘Republic of India’ is a peninsular country in Asia i.e. it is surrounded by water from three sides.

2) India is the seventh largest country in the world with 7 neighbouring countries.
