- Let 6 men can complete the work in 'd' days
As the work will remain in both the cases i.e with 10 men & 6 men hence we will calculate the total work required to complete the work
Case I [ With 10 men ]
➠ Total work = Men × Days
- Men = 10
- Days = 3
: ➜ Total work = 10 × 3
: ➜ Total work = 30 units
Case II [ With 6 men ]
➠ Total work = Men × Days
- Men = 6
- Days = d
: ➜ Total work = 6 × d
: ➜ Total work = 6d units
As discussed above the total work will remain same as in both cases as the work was same
Thus ,
: ➜ 30 = 6d
