Ten years from now, their age will be A+10 and B+10
A+10=2(B+10)
A=2B+10. -eq. 1
Five years ago, their ages were A-5 and B-5
A-5=3(B-5)
A=3B-10 -eq.2
Equating 1 and 2 equations,
2B+10=3B-10
B=20
Therefore B's age is 20 years and A's age is 50 years.
