Yes. Tennyson not only describes the beautiful journey of the brook but also relates with human life. Poet says that the brook passes many hurdles and ups and downs, similarly a human has to pass many difficulties, i.e; hurdles and will have ups and downs. Poet also tells us 'For men may come and men may go, but I go on forever' in this refrain he has clearly stated that the brook will go on forever but the human life will have to stop some day. Which tells us the mortality of humans.
