Teresa wrote this expression (s+3) to describe the total distance she was going to swim during two swim classes. Which situation could be described by this expression?

The answer here should be Option C, as she used the sign "+" instead of "x" or any other notation. She wanted to add something.

And as it is very clear that she wanted to write the information about two classes, so that makes the second term for second class and first term for first class.
