Velocity is displacement/time

Displacement is nothing but length so the dimensional formula is L and time is T so L/T =====> LT^-1.

Both initial and final velocities have the same dimensional formula.

Acceleration is velocity/time

Velocity is LT^-1 which we had derived already so left out is time which is T so now LT^-1/T ===> LT^-2
