15 +  \frac{1}{2} p = 3p

Hello dear,

1/2 * p = p/2

15 + p/2 = 3p

=> 15 = 3p - p/2

=> 15 = (6p - p)/2 [ by taking lcm 2 ]

=> 15 = (5p)/2

=> 15*2 = 5p

=> 30 = 5p

=> 30/5 = p

=> 6 = p
