x and y are same,
2x-5y=5 or 2x-5y-5=0
2x-5x-5 =0

2x-5y-5=2x-5x-5

-5x=-5y

x=y

For value of x and y:

Take the second equation

2x-5x-5=0

-3x-5 = 0

3x=-5

x=-5/3

Since x=y

Therefore, x=y=-5/3
