3/√2

Rationalising the denominator,we get

= 3√2/(√2×√2)

= 3√2/2

Therefore,

3/√2 = (3√2)/2

Or

3/√2

= (3√2)/2

= 3×1.414/2

= 3×0.707

= 2.121
