Answer:

We know that we can write

 {4}^{x}\: as \: [{2}^{2}]^{x} = {2}^{2x}

We are writing this as above because right hand side of the expression in given in the power of 2.

Now after that we can compare powers very easily .

Solution;

 {4}^{x}  =  {2}^{8}  \\  \implies { ({2}^{2} )}^{ x}  =  {2}^{8}  \\ \implies {2}^{2x}  =  {2}^{8}  \\ \implies 2x = 8 \\ \implies \red{\boxed{\boxed{x = 4}}}

Answer:

4^x = 2^8

2^8=256

256= 4^x

by prime factorisation of 256, we get:

256=4×4×4×4

256= 4^4

hence x = 4

4^4 = 2^8

hope it helps
