Using the identity,

 {(x + y)}^{3}  =  {x}^{3}  +  {y}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2}y  + 3x {y}^{2}

 =  {6}^{3}  +  {2q}^{3}  + 3 {(6)}^{2}y + 18 {y}^{2}

 = 216 +  {8q}^{3}  + 108y + 18 {y}^{2}
