Hey MATE !

The expansion of the following is :

a² + (7b) ² - 2(a)(7b)

=> a² + 49b - 14 ab.

(a - 7b) 2

Using the identity (a-b) 2 = a2 - 2ab +b2

We get,

(a - 7b)2 = a2 - 2*a*7b + (7b)2
= a2 - 14ab + 49b2
