Given:

f(x) = \sqrt{3 - 2x}

To Find:

the domain and range f(x).

Solution:

The Domain of f(x)

    3 -2x ≥ 0

    3 ≥ 2x

    \frac{3}{2} ≥ x

    x ≤ \frac{3}{2}

Domain of f(x)= (-∞, \frac{3}{2})

The range of f(x),

    Let y be f(x)

                        y = f(x)

                        y = \sqrt{3 - 2x}

Since 3- 2x ≥ 0

          y ≥ 0

Range of f(x) = (0, ∞)

Therefore, domain of f(x)= (-∞, \frac{3}{2}) and range of f(x)= (0, ∞).
