  • When we spray perfume on our palm we feel cold because the perfume requires latent heat of vaporisation to change its state from liquid to gas and this latent heat is provided by our palm. Our palm loses heat as it gives its heat in converting perfume from liquid to gas. ... Thats the reason we feel cold.

When moisture on the skin's surface evaporates it disperses heat into the air. This is why we perspire in hot weather—it is the body’s way of cooling itself.

Alcohol is more volatile than perspiration, and evaporates more quickly. That's why we experience a more noticeable cooling sensation when applying cologne in warm weather than we would from mere perspiration.

That is also why it is better to use lighter formulations of scent in warm weather ._.
