4x + 3y/6x + 5y = 11/17

17(4x + 3y ) = 11(6x + 5y)

68x + 51y = 66x + 55y

68x - 66x = 55y - 51y

2x. = 4y

x/y. = 4/2 = 2:1

Answer: \frac{x}{y} = \frac{2}{1}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{4x + 3y}{6x + 5y}  =  \frac{11}{17}

=> 17(4x + 3y) = 11 (6x + 5y)

=> 68x + 51y = 66x + 55y

=>  68x - 66x = 55y - 51y

=> 2x = 4y

\frac{x}{y}= \frac{4}{2}

\frac{x}{y} = \frac{2}{1}
