 \frac{x + 1}{4}  =  \frac{x - 2}{3}  \\  \\  =  > 3(x + 1) = 4(x - 2) \\  \\  =  > 3x + 3 = 4x - 8 \\  \\  =  > 3x - 4x =  - 8 - 3 \\  \\  =  >  - x =  - 11 \\  \\  =  > x = 11( -  \: and \:  -  \: cancelled)
