X/4 + 21 = 57
First I am going to transpose the 21 to the right side of the equation.(Sign changes)
X/4 = 57 - 21
X/4 = 36
Now, I am going to move the denominator (4) to the left side.(Sign changes)
X = 36 x 4
X = 144
