 \dfrac{x + 4}{4}  -  \dfrac{2x - 3}{2} =  \dfrac{x}{8}   \\  \\  \dfrac{1 \times (x + 4) - 2 \times (2x - 3)}{4}  =  \dfrac{x}{8}  \\  \\  \dfrac{x + 4 - 4x + 6}{4}  =  \dfrac{x}{8}  \\  \\ 8 \times ( - 3x + 10) = 4 \times x \\  \\  - 24x + 80 = 4x \\  \\  - 28x =  - 80 \\  \\ x =  \dfrac{80}{28}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{20}{7}

Hope it helps
