White colour is made from seven colours. red, orange, yellow, green, blue,Indigo, Violet. so,
when light enters through
rarer medium to denser medium and get refracted
back to rarer medium colours in white colour get split , because there refractive index is not same. And they form a rainbow this is called dispersion of light.
