The above two question are asking to find out the wrong term in the series. So, we have to find the logic of the series i.e. relation between two consecutive terms of the series. So, let's check the logic first and then the wrong term.

Question - (1)

 \Large{ \underline{ \underline{ \bold{ \red{Logic}}}}}

The numbers in the first series are divided by even numbers backwardly starting from 12, 10, 8, 6.....

  • 46080 ÷ 12 = 3840
  • 3840 ÷ 10 = 384
  • 384 ÷ 8 = 48
  • 48 ÷ 6 = 8
  • 8 ÷ 4 = 2
  • 2 ÷ 2 = 1

⏺ Correct series should be 46080,3840,384,48,8,2,1

But, Series given is 46080,3840,384,48,24,2,1

 \large{ \therefore{ \underline{ \bold{ \purple{Wrong \: term = 24}}}}}

Question - (2)

 \Large{ \underline{ \underline{ \bold{ \red{Logic}}}}}

The numbers have been added with a square number to get the next number. Like +1², +2², +3².....

  • 15 + 1 = 16
  • 16 + 4 = 20
  • 20 + 9 = 29
  • 29 + 16 = 45
  • 45 + 25 = 70

⏺ Correct series should be 15, 16, 20, 29, 45, 70

But, series given 15, 16, 22, 29, 45, 70

 \large{ \therefore{ \underline{ \bold{ \purple{Wrong \: term = 22}}}}}

✏ Option B
