This type of reaction would essentially not react because sodium would not replace sodium, normally when you are trying to figure out the products from the reactants you would take the first ion from the first compound (Na^+) and attach it to the 2nd from the second compound (CO3^-2) which would make Na2CO3. Then you would do the same thing with the first ion of the second compound (Na^+) and attach it to the second of the first compound (Cl^-). This would become NaCl, so like I stated earlier, there would not even be a reaction.
