Let the length of train be x meter.

Given:

Bridge =100 meter

Bridge =100 meter Time =45 seconds

 \small \mathcal{\underline\blue{Convert~speed~into~m/s-}}

Speed=60×5/18

By solving speed came 50/3 m per second.

So,Total distance=(x+100)m

Time =Distance÷Speed

45=(x+100)÷50×3

45×50÷3=x+100

750-100=x

650=x

Length of train=650m

Speed=50/3 m/s

Time=650/50×3

=39seconds

A train crosses a bridge 100m long in 45 seconds at a speed of 60km/h.Find the time taken by the train to cross a clock tower.

Let the length of train be x meter.

Given:+

Bridge =100 meter

Bridge =100 meter Time =45 seconds

 \small \mathcal{\underline\blue{Convert~speed~into~m/s-}}

Speed=60km/h

speed \:  = 60 \times  \frac{5}{18}

by \: solving \: speed \: came \frac{50}{3}

So,Total distance =(x+100)m

time =  \frac{distance }{speed}

45 =  \frac{x + 100 \times 3}{50}

 \frac{45 \times 50}{3}  = x + 100

750-100=x

650=x

Length of train=650m

speed =   \frac{50}{3}

Find,Time taken by train

time =  \frac{650}{50}  \times 3 = 39s
