Since there is an plane wire through the diagonal of the rectangular shape of circuit, connecting A and B, all the other resistances will be short-circuited, hence they are to be neglected.

This is because, current will not go through any of the resistance because it can easily travel without any hindrance through the plain wire.

So, R eq. = 0 ohm.
