We can write is as +4% = +1/25

and +5% = +1/20

So

 \\ 25 -  -  -  -  -  - 26 \\20 -  -  -  -  -  - 21 \\ 25 -  -   - -  -  - 26 \\  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  \\  = 12500 -  -  -  -  - 14196

And given that value of 12500 = 50000

,i.e. ×4

So present population(14196)= 14196×4

=56784
