Answer:

let breadth be x

length = x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

ATQ

l + b =36

2x + 4 = 36

2x = 32

x = 16

breadth = 16 m

length = 20 m

Let width of the rectangular garden be x

So length=4+x

Half of perimeter=36m

So perimeter of garden will be 36×2=72cm

Now we can find the value of x by applying formula of perimeter of rectangular garden.

★Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)

 \sf   \large \to72cm=2(4+x+x)

  \sf \large \to\frac{72m}{2}  = 4 + 2x

 \sf \large   \to36m=4+2x

 \sf \large \to36m-4=2x

 \sf \large \to32m=2x

 \sf \large \to \frac{32m}{2}=x

 \sf \large \to 16m=x

  • So breadth of rectangle=x=16m
  • Length of rectangle=2x=2×16=32m
