Let the initial quantity of milk litres,  For each litre, ml of water is added, so after adding water, quantity of mixture become litres.  Now litres  of mixture is sold, and litres of milk is added.  So remaining quantity is In this final quantity, milk   So, Solving, we get So initial quantity of milk litres
