: Required Answer

Given

500 sq. m extra cloth per board

Find

required to cover 8 such boards

Solution

Total Area of clothes required = Area of 8 bulletin board + Area of extra clothes required for 8 boards

Now ,

(8 \times r \times t \: cm {}^{2} ) + (8 \times 500cm {}^{2} )

 = (8 rt + 4000) \: cm {}^{2}

Hence, 400 cm2 is answer :)
