Length of the canvas = 9.9m

Cost of Canvas = ₹ 123.75

Solution :

radius = ½ ×12 => 6m

length = 6.3m

\star Area of Canvas required = Surface area of conical tent = πrl

 \ \ \ \ \ \ \ = \frac{22}{7} × 6 ×6.3 \\ \\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \implies 118.8 m²

\star width of the canvas = 12m

\star length of Canvas = 118.8÷ 12 = 9.9m

\star Cost of 1 metre of Canvas = 12.50

cost of 9.9 m = 12.50× 9.9 = 123.75
