  • Weather is the day to day atmospheric conditions with respect to temperature, humidity, wind and rainfall at a place at a particular time. The Sun brings about changes on the earth and atmosphere. It warms up the land and water on the earth. The warming of land and water on the earth warms the air above them, resulting in breeze. The Sun helps in evaporation of water from the earth hence adding to the humidity in the air and formation of clouds which may bring rain later.

Answer:

The Sun and the weather. The energy that the Earth receives from the Sun is the basic cause of our changing weather. Solar heat warms the huge air masses that comprise large and small weather systems. The day-night and summer-winter cycles in the weather have obvious causes and effects.
