Osmosis and Diffusion are passive transport and occur along the concentration gradient.
The difference of the two is :
Osmosis requires a semi permeable or a fully permeable membrane, from the lower concentration of solvent to the higher concentration of the solvent across the membrane
Diffusion is the movement of solute from a higher concentration to the lower concentration. A membrane may or may not be present.
Ósmosis takes place mostly across the plasma membrane of body cells and organelles.
Diffusion takes place to distribute nutrients and minerals in body fluid and tissues
I hope it helps you

αnswєr :
•Diffusion and Osmosis are the examples of passive transport.
•Diffusion is a physical process where molecules migrate from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration through liquid or gaseous medium by virtue of their random motion.
•It is a passive process so it does not require energy.
•Osmoisis is a physical process in which molecules move from a region of higher concentration to the region of lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane. It occurs only in liquid medium.
•It does not require energy.
