The heat engine is a device which converts the chemical energy into heat energy and this heat energy will be utilized in form of mechanical energy.When the system absorbs the energy from heat source then it will be utilized to do work and the rest of the energy will be released to the heat sink.There are many types of cycles like carnot cycle.otto cycle,diesel cycle,rankine cycle etc. the efficiency of carnot cycle is n=1-(T2/T1).
