Mouse reproduces by sexual reproduction. When we cut the tail, no changes are made in the reproductive cells of the mouse. Now, if no changes are made in the reproductive cells of the mouse, they cannot pass the charachterstic of "NO TAIL" to the next generation.


Hence, these tailless Mouse will NOT have a tailless progeny.


The following Rule id proved here:-

When an organism reproduces only certain cells called "reproductive cells" or "gametes" take part in sexual reproduction. Unless, a change in made in these gametes, any change cannot be passed to the next generation."
