if \: y \alpha 1 \div {x}^{2} \implies x^{2}y = k\:--(1)

 i) Substitute \: x = 2 , \:y = 9 \: in \: Equation \:(1),\\we \:get

 k = 2^{2} \times 9

 \implies k = 36 \:--(2)

 Now, substitute  \: y = 9 ,k = 36 \\in \: Equation \:(1), \:we \:get

 x^{2} \times 9 = 36

 \implies x^{2} = \frac{36}{9}

 \implies x^{2} = 4

 \implies x =  \sqrt{4}

 \implies x = 2

Therefore.,
