Given :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 20m
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 15m
  • Cost of Fencing = Rs 50 per m

 \\

To Find :-

  • Cost of Fencing the Rectangle

 \\

Solution :-

❏ As we know that, Fencing is done on the boundary . So, we will find the Perimeter of the Rectangle by using the 2 ( Length + Breadth ).

Putting the Values :

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( 20 + 15 )

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 35

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 70m

________________

⟾ Cost of Fencing 1m = Rs 50

⟾ Cost of Fencing 70m = 50 × 70

⟾ Cost of Fencing 70m = Rs 3500

Thus Cost of Fencing the Rectangle is Rs 3500

Now, we have been given the length and the breadth respectively and such that the cost of fencing is 50 rupees per meter

So let's find the perimeter and then multiply it with 50 rupees

\blue{ \underline{ \boxed{ \pink{ \mathfrak{ \therefore \: perimeter \: of \: a \: re ctangle = 2(l + b)}}}}}

Now let's substitute the values

  \longrightarrow \sf \: perimeter = 2(20 + 15) \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: perimeter = 2(35) \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: perimeter = 70m

Now let's find the cost of fencing it.!

  \longrightarrow \sf \: cost \: to \: fence = 70 \times 50 \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: cost \: to \: fence = 3500 \bigstar
