log 2 + 16 log (16 ÷ 15) + 12 log (25 ÷ 24) + 7 log (81 ÷ 80)


Move all the numbers in front of the log to the numbers behind the log to form powers:

log 2 + log (16 ÷ 15)¹⁶ + log (25 ÷ 24)¹² + log (81 ÷ 80)⁷


Do the divisions in the brackets:

log 2 + log 1.067¹⁶ + log 1.042¹² + log 1.013⁷


Combine the numbers:

log (2 × 1.067¹⁶ × 1.042¹² × 1.013⁷)


Solve the powers:

log (2 × 2.82 × 1.64 × 1.09)


Do the multiplications and you will get the answer:

log 10.08 = 1.003
