Calculate The Ph of solution obtained by mixing 10ml of 0.1 HCL and 40ml of 0.2 M h2So4 ?

In HCL solution , millimole of HCL = Molarity * Volume (ml)

=0.1 ×10

=1

So,millimole of H+ in HCL = 1

IN H2SO4 solution millimole of H2SO4 = 0.2 * 40

= 8

so , millimole of H+ in H2SO4 =2*8 =16

Total volume of mixture =10+40 =50

final concentration of H+ =17/50

=0.34M

so final PH = -log (H+)

=-log (0.34)

= 0.4685
