vapor density = mol .wt /2

molwt = 29×2=58 g

carbon

62.1/12=5.175

Hydrogen

10.3/1=10.3

Simple ratio

carbon

5.175/5.175=1

Hydrogen

10.3/5.175=1.99=2

Empirical formula =CH2

empirical mass =14

molar mass =58 g

molar mass = n× empirical mass

n=molar mass/empirical mass

n=58/14=4

molecular formula = 4(CH2)=C 4 H8

hence the answer is a

(as there is only one option containing 4 carbons and 8 Hydrogen)
