Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer.

(PLS REF. TO THE IMAGE ACCORDINGLY FOR CLEAR UNDERSTANDING)

We have Eight people, so it is better to start by drawing a circle with 8 positions fixed, and name each position from 1 - 8 respectively . It helps to avoid confusion while solving.

Now, Let us look at the first clue.

CLUE 1 :  P sits second to the left of S, who is third to the left of T

So, this clue tells us about the positions of P,T and S. So, Now let us fix a position for S. Let us set the position of S at 5. Then from the clue given, P must be second to the left of S, which means P is in the 3rd Position and T is third to the right of S, Hence, T is in the 8th position.

Now, we have arranged P , S and T. (Image 1) .

So , Lets move to the next clue.

CLUE 2 : R sits third to the right of V, who is not a an immediate neighbour of T.

We can conclude that V cannot be in 1st and 7th position. So for the condition to be possible R must be in 7th place and V must be in 4th place.

(REFER TO THE IMAGE 2)

Lets look at the final clue to figure out the seating order of the 8 friends.

CLUE 3: W sits third to the right of Q, who sits second to the right of V

So From this Q must be in 6  ( second to the right of V) , then W is in 1st .

Now the only vacant place is 2 and the only available person is U.

Hence U is seated in the 2nd place.

We had found out the seating order of the 8 friends .

(REFER TO THE IMAGE 3)

Now, it is easy to notice that P is seated second to the right of W.
