Explain the procedure to represent -6/7 on the number line ?

Solution:-

Draw a number line.

➝ Mark a point in middle as 0(zero).

➝ Now to the right side of the number represent positive numbers ie, 1/7, 2/7, 3/7......

➝ Now to the left side of the number line represent negative numbers ie,-1/7 ,-2/7 ,-3/7......

➝ Then mark the point -6/7 on the number line with a tick mark or cross mark.

Additional Information:-

Zero is the middle point lies between the two halfs of a number line.

Positive numbers and integers are always marked to the right side of the number line or zero.

Negative numbers and integers are always marked to the left side of the number line or zero.
