Explain the procedure to represent -6/7 on the number line ?
Solution:-
➝ Draw a number line.
➝ Mark a point in middle as 0(zero).
➝ Now to the right side of the number represent positive numbers ie, 1/7, 2/7, 3/7......
➝ Now to the left side of the number line represent negative numbers ie,-1/7 ,-2/7 ,-3/7......
➝ Then mark the point -6/7 on the number line with a tick mark or cross mark.
Additional Information:-
➝ Zero is the middle point lies between the two halfs of a number line.
➝ Positive numbers and integers are always marked to the right side of the number line or zero.
➝ Negative numbers and integers are always marked to the left side of the number line or zero.
