Creating a document:
- Open the drive/folder where you want to create it.
- Click the organize button on tool bar, and then click new folder.
- With the new folder name selected, type the name you want to give it.
- Press enter.
Renaming a document:
- Click the file/folder/document to select it.
- Click the organize button on toolbar, and then click rename.
- With the name selected, type a new name, or click to position the insertion point, and then edit the name.
- Press enter.
Saving a document:
- Click the WordPad button, and then click Save as.
- You can also point to Save as, and then select a specific file format.
- Use the Navigation pane to navigate to the drive or folder in which you want to save the file.
- Type a name for the file, or use the suggested one.
- To change the format of a file, click the Save as type list arrow, and then click a file format.
- Click Save.
