Creating a document:

  • Open the drive/folder where you want to create it.
  • Click the organize button on tool bar, and then click new folder.
  • With the new folder name selected, type the name you want to give it.
  • Press enter.

Renaming a document:

  • Click the file/folder/document to select it.
  • Click the organize button on toolbar, and then click rename.
  • With the name selected, type a new name, or click to position the insertion point, and then edit the name.
  • Press enter.

Saving a document:

  • Click the WordPad button, and then click Save as.
  • You can also point to Save as, and then select a specific file format.
  • Use the Navigation pane to navigate to the drive or folder in which you want to save the file.
  • Type a name for the file, or use the suggested one.
  • To change the format of a file, click the Save as type list arrow, and then click a file format.
  • Click Save.
